Dirty pony, I can't wait to hose you down..

Here are my top five pairs of shoes, that I got in 2011. I feel the need to preface this post, with saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

#5 Favorite Shoe of 2011- Gray Converse

Everybody NEEDS a pair of classic gray converse. There a little more unique then the classic black i would say (which is also a favorite). As you see, I wore these shoes out this year! These are my go to shoes for school, going out, or whatever i'm doing. They go with jeans, shorts, cut offs, suits- literally everything. If you don't feel like going broke for $50 bucks a pair, Walmart sells a version for about $8.

#4 Favorite Shoe of 2012- Black Pleather Jesus Sandal

Great shoe- bad time. These are pretty basic black strappy sandals. Back in June (over my summer break) I was searching every store in my mall for some mens "Jesus Sandals". I sadly did not find any. September came around, and I was visiting my brother up in Fullerton, and found these on a clearance rack at the H&M by his school, for $10. Great shoe, great price, bad timing.

#3 Favorite Shoe of 2011- Vans Sneaker Spats/Oxfords

I bought these a few months back, to wear to my homecoming dance, and i've been wearing them religiously ever since! They combine the vintage cool of oxfords, with the modern style of Vans, and they're comfortable. The waxed laces just add another authentic touch, that you would find on these style of shoes in the 50's. For $30 bucks at Journey, I got a rad pair of sneakers that would take me months to find a similar pair in a thrift store.

#2 Favorite Shoe of 2011- Vintage Versace Dress Shoes/Sandals

I picked these up on eBay a while back(when having vintage Gianni Versace was the big thing). As you can see they're woven grey suede dressy shoes. I thought they were unique, and would be a nice piece to own. I wear these very rarely though because the heel makes SUCH a loud sound when you walk it's not even funny. But the are a nice thing to have chillen in my closet :). Below is a picture of the tag on the inside.

#1 Favorite Shoe of 2011- TUK Leopard Creepers

Ahhh my babies!!! (Please ignore the grass on the carpet, my guinea pig was being a bitch t(._.t)). These are TUK Faux Leopard Fur creepers with a 1 7/8 inch platform. I got these on clearance on tukshoes.com for about $50, best $50 i've ever spent in my life. I get so many looks in these shoes (some good some bad) and they're super unique. The only downside is that they don't match with much, but thats not a huge problem.
